Choosing the right GNSS antenna can be the difference between a project that delivers centimeter accuracy and one that struggles to maintain a fix. This guide walks through the key factors to consider.

1. Identify Your Required Frequency Bands

Modern GNSS receivers support multiple bands. The more bands your antenna covers, the faster your RTK fix and the better your performance in obstructed environments.

  • L1 + L2: Standard for RTK surveying
  • L1 + L2 + L5: Recommended for professional and challenging environments
